**Position Summary**
The Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and appropriate staff scheduling to meet client needs across all service lines. This position requires strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and manage daily, weekly, and on-call schedules for caregivers and staff.
- Ensure client coverage is maintained and staff assignments follow care plans.
- Respond promptly to call-outs, emergencies, or last-minute changes.
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients about schedule updates.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation using scheduling software.
- Collaborate with the HR and care teams to align staffing with client care plans.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a scheduling or dispatch role, preferably in healthcare.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling platforms.
**Compensation**
- Training Rate: $16/hour
- Post-Training Rate: $17–$19/hour DOE
- **Salaried position** based on 40 hours/week (exempt status)
**Work Schedule**
- **All hours; schedule may vary** depending on staffing and client needs.
- Flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
