Job Summary
**THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION, ATTENDANCE IN THE OFFICE MON-FRIDAY DURING BUSINESS HOURS IS REQUIRED**
Right at Home provides in home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. This is a supervisory role that includes supporting customer service complaint resolution, scheduling of 100 + caregivers, phone interviewing, and performance management of caregiver staff. The role also includes providing on call after hours support on a rotating basis with other administrative staff. The Scheduler must also successfully handle and convert inbound phone inquiries from clients into consultations, and monitor telephony system (timekeeping) and other payroll responsibilities as needed and other office coordination duties.
Essential Function
- Schedules and coordinates day to day activities of caregivers.
- Answers telephone, takes inquiries or messages using good telephone technique.
- Receives referrals and inquiries on the programs of this company and successfully converts inquiries into appointments.
- Phone screens applicants
- Assists efforts with recruiting, associate hiring, orientations, in-services, disciplinary actions, etc.
- Performs payroll duties including verifying time sheets, updating telephony records, and computer input for payroll processing.
- Maintains documentation of associate work records in software system and ensures current and complete personnel records for all caregivers
- Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.
- Responds promptly and courteously to all clients’ calls.
Additional Functions
Performs on-call coordinator duties on a rotating basis
- Other general office and clerical functions.
- Work as a backup caregiver in the field in emergency situations.
- Other duties assigned by the President.
Education, Experience, Knowledge,Skills, Abilities and Availability
- Home care agency experience in an administrative role required
- Ability to successfully resolve client complaints
- Expert at solving problems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker- with scheduling aides-making great matches of caregiver to client
- Experience with staffing & recruiting preferred.
- Must have a working broadband internet connection
- Health care administrative or clinical background or experience preferred.
- Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities (Microsoft Office)
- High School graduate or equivalent with two years of business experience.

- Exceptional telephone skills.
- Strong inside sales skills – ability to convert inbound inquiries into appointments.
- Knowledge of common medical terminology.
- Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
