Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Develop project/program schedules and facilitate project/activity sequencing.
- Provide cost and schedule variance analysis and recommending corrective action as needed.
- Analyze construction schedules and recommend workarounds and schedule improvement ideas.
- Advise Project Manager of change orders with schedule impact.
- Validate contractors’ project schedule accuracy.
- Develop, report, and manage data for portfolio of assigned projects.
- Actively participate in identify scheduling process improvements.
- Liaison with contractors’ scheduling resources.
- Communicates schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports.
- Maintain critical path analysis and reporting deviations against the master schedule.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10-12 years minimum experience in construction project scheduling experience.
- Indoor office environment. May require work on site location when necessary.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Must have working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications such as Microsoft Office
- Experience in engineering project scheduling.
- Good Organizational skills
- Good time-management skills
- Good communication skills
- Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
