Position Summary
The Scheduling & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing delivery schedules for customer furniture orders while also supporting the Marketing Director with day-to-day tasks. This dual-role position ensures customer orders are delivered on time while contributing to marketing initiatives that promote the company’s products. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing scheduling responsibilities with creative and administrative marketing support.
This is a split role position (75% scheduling; 25% marketing).
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Coordination
- Develop, maintain, and adjust the master delivery calendar based on customer orders, capacity, and resources.
- Track order progress and coordinate with shop supervisors to ensure on-time completion.
- Serve as the liaison between sales, production, and delivery teams regarding timelines and updates.
- Generate delivery manifests and identify opportunities for workflow improvements.
- Assist the Delivery Manager with other duties, as assigned.
Marketing Support
- Assist the Marketing Director with preparing materials for sales promotions, events, and campaigns.
- Help coordinate logistics for open houses and showroom events.
- Maintain and update content for the company website, social media platforms, and email campaigns as directed.
- Support photography, copywriting, and documentation of new products and installations.
- Track marketing inventory (brochures, samples, signage) and coordinate reorders as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in scheduling, production coordination, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience supporting marketing or administrative functions a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with marketing tools (social media platforms, email marketing, CMS) preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
