Lenape Regional High School District is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven School Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our schools and support our mission of fostering academic excellence and student growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of educational policies and practices, and a deep commitment to enhancing the educational experience for students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead and manage the school staff, fostering a positive, productive, and collaborative environment.
- Ensure that all school operations comply with district policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to improve academic performance, student behavior, and overall school climate.
- Curriculum & Instruction:
- Oversee the development and implementation of the school curriculum, ensuring it aligns with state standards and the district’s educational goals.
- Evaluate and improve instructional programs to support student achievement.
- Monitor and support professional development for teachers, ensuring ongoing staff training to improve instructional practices.
- Student Support & Engagement:
- Address student concerns and conflicts, ensuring that disciplinary actions are fair and consistent.
- Support initiatives to foster student engagement, inclusivity, and well-being.
- Work with counselors and other staff to develop strategies for supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Community & Parent Relations:
- Serve as a liaison between the school and the community, fostering positive relationships with parents, local organizations, and other external stakeholders.
- Organize and attend school events, parent-teacher meetings, and community outreach initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on school activities, policies, and student progress.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to education, safety, and school administration.
- Prepare and submit reports to the district and state authorities, as required.
- Maintain student records in compliance with privacy laws and district policies.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational leadership or school administration, with a track record of success in improving student outcomes.
- Experience in supervising staff, managing budgets, and leading school improvement initiatives.
- Strong background in curriculum design and instructional strategies.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to build relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into the classroom.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.26 - $29.01 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
