Experience & Qualifications
- Valid California PPS credential in School Psychology
- Recent experience supporting elementary students in a public school setting
- Strong assessment, report writing, and collaboration skills
- Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable but not required
- Must reside in or be able to commute daily to San Mateo or San Francisco County
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites if needed
What You’ll Do
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to support timely and compliant IEP development
- Participate in multidisciplinary IEP teams and contribute to student placement decisions
- Support crisis intervention, social-emotional development, and behavior plans as needed
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district timelines and best practices
- Provide consultation and support to school staff on student learning, behavior, and mental health
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
