Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Self-Defense Instructor located in New York, NY. You will be responsible for teaching our self-defense classes, developing and implementing curriculum, ensuring student safety, and fostering a high-energy and positive environment. Daily tasks include conducting private training sessions, leading small to large group classes, preparing lessons, attending training needed, and exuding a strong work ethic & team work.
Qualifications
- Skills in leading & teaching all levels
- Experience in martial arts: Kickboxing/Muay Thai, MMA, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, or Krav Maga
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Experience running small to large group classes
- Certifications in personal training a plus
- Strong commitment to progress
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 40 per week
