This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues that require attention, including plumbing, electrical, and structural problems.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete repairs, installations, and renovations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an Ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects when necessary.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
