About the Role
Triangle Co-Hosts is seeking a dependable and skilled handyman or handywoman to assist with maintenance and minor repairs across our short-term rental properties in Raleigh. This is a contract-based role with flexible hours and the opportunity to grow as our business expands.
What We're Looking For:
- Someone who can be generally available and on-call between 10 AM and 4 PM to respond to service requests
- An up-and-coming handyman or handywoman who wants to grow their business and take on more work as we add properties
- Someone who can handle small repairs with confidence and a strong sense of reliability
Sample Tasks Might Include:
- Property Inspections: Perform quality checks after turnovers, investigate guest-reported issues, and ensure each home meets our high standards.
- Tightening loose toilet paper holders and door hooks
- Fixing leaky faucets or running toilets
- Resetting smart locks and replacing batteries
- Assembling or repairing furniture
- Touching up paint, drywall, or caulking
- Doing light yard work or pressure washing
Requirements:
- Based near Raleigh with reliable transportation
- Handy with a wide range of small repair tasks
- Available for occasional same-day requests during daytime hours
- Professional, respectful, and easy to communicate with
Compensation:
This is a contract role. Pay will be market rate and negotiable depending on experience and task complexity. If it’s the right fit, we’ll work together to come up with a structure that works for both of us.
