Revecore is embarking on re-architecting and modernizing its core platform. As part of this, the Data Operations team at Revecore is building upon its capabilities to ensure data accuracy, data integrity, and availability of data assets across the business. This team plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven excellence within our organization. The accuracy and quality of our products starts with us. It is our job to maintain a data infrastructure that is built on this trust and reliability.
The Senior Data Operations Analyst will play a key role within the Technology team, overseeing data quality, monitoring, and optimization across the data pipeline. This role involves leading efforts to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data through advanced quality checks, automated monitoring, and continuous improvement of data workflows. You will take ownership of identifying and resolving data discrepancies, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient data solutions. By enforcing best practices and ensuring adherence to compliance standards, you will enable data-driven decision-making across the business. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, strategic oversight, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to understand and meet the organization’s evolving data needs.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data quality frameworks, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data across the entire data pipeline.
- Establish automated data validation and monitoring systems to proactively detect and resolve data quality issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and business requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize advanced queries and reports to support operational data analysis, ensuring they meet performance, accuracy, and quality standards. Provide data-driven insights for process improvements and business decision-making.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of data issues, offering recommendations for system improvements and process optimizations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders (engineering, product, business) to prioritize high-impact data quality issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Design and implement analytical queries, views, and stored procedures (T-SQL) to support complex data analysis tasks and troubleshooting efforts, optimizing for both performance and accuracy.
- Oversee the data reconciliation process between multiple systems on continuously improving data fidelity.
- Oversee the design and continuous improvement of data monitoring systems to track key metrics (e.g., data timeliness, completeness, consistency) and to alert teams to anomalies or issues.
- Review and optimize existing SQL and Python code to improve execution time and ensure the highest possible data quality and performance.
- Collaborate with the Data Solutions (Engineering) team on support issues related to file processing and data ingestion.
- Collaborate with the Data Solutions (Engineering) team on product initiatives related to Data Operations.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other data privacy regulations while designing, implementing, and maintaining data operations processes.
Technical Requirements
- Our stack is Azure Synapse (Spark and SQL), dbt, Airflow, and Python. Experience with Azure Cloud is preferred.
- Ability to write T-SQL independently at a high level is critical for this role.
- We are looking for 6-8 years’ experience reading/writing T-SQL in an operational role.
- Deep expertise in performance tuning and optimization of T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views. Highly adept at debugging and problem-solving using data.
- Candidate should have 4+ years’ experience with Healthcare provider data.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with scripting in Python to automate and monitor data workflows. Preferably hands-on scripting/automation experience for data workflows.
- Proven ability to lead data operations projects and drive initiatives across teams.
- Comfortable mentoring other analysts in reviewing code and enforcing data quality standards.
- Experience translating business needs into scalable, high-quality data solutions.
- Strong data intuition — ability to proactively detect anomalies, identify root causes, and drive resolutions.
- Comfort in collaborating with data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to influence roadmaps.
- Contribute to the development of internal documentation and standards for operational excellence.
- Knowledge of data privacy and HIPAA regulation.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
