We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Server Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a memorable dining experience. This position involves supporting the front-of-house staff, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently.
- Help set up and break down banquet tables for special events, ensuring all necessary items are available.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive dining atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn about food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
