Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and effectively upselling items to enhance their experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for order processing.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Upsell additional items to guests, contributing to increased sales and enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets the establishment's standards.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and assist in setting up or clearing tables as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a server role within a fast paced restaurant mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Ability to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the establishment's schedule.
