Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure all food safety standards are met by properly sanitizing work areas and utensils.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and care.
- Process transactions using Aloha POS or similar systems, ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required.
