Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the TOAST system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to tables while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and address any guest concerns regarding their orders.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation practices to maintain a safe dining environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments or nightclubs.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is an asset.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs efficiently.
