Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that they have an enjoyable dining experience. As a Server, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus in a friendly manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate POS system (MICROS experience is a plus) and handle payments
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas.
- Buss tables quickly and efficiently to prepare for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and fellow team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Assist with side work and opening/closing duties
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous food service experience preferred but not required.
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
