Reports to: Service Manager
Hours: 40 hours weekly
Purpose:
Service Coordinator is to support all Field Service Technicians and all on-site Service Technicians in all aspects of their work duties.
Create work orders for repair of equipment. Document diagnosis of repairs or findings, customer communications and relay communication from customer to Service Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.
- Manage key customer account relationships to provide a differentiated customer experience.
- Provide all necessary information on work order to support billing process.
- Maintain current product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to customer accounts.
- Oversee daily functions of service technicians – primarily Field Service Technicians, but also support on site staff in all facets of their job functions
- Post labor time weekly to balance with payroll.
- Review technician notes on work order – apply appropriate misc. charges, fuel / truck charges and any sublet charges accordingly
- Work orders are to be closed or prepped the following day.
- Utilize resources including technical support from the manufacture website or other to resolve repair issues on a same day basis.
(Document findings and include with work order).
Preventative Maintenance (PM) Agreements – communicate with customers for scheduling, needs and other concerns
- Follow up with all customers on scheduled times and/or discuss additional concerns with quotes and turnaround times.
- Assist Material Handling Specialists and other Departments as necessary in locating inventory and coordinate movement of inventory.
- Approve vendor invoices for payment.
- Extract and input information as needed in support of sales activity in Customer Resource Management system, Sales now and
Soft base
- Represent Eaheart Industrial Services professionally in all internal and external communications.
- Other duties as assigned, such as: (answer phones, assist in research when needed).
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of basic math skills. o Prior heavy equipment experiences valuable. o Knowledge of key customer account operations o Ability to use software applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions o Excellent customer relationship skills with current and future decision makers
