Job Title: Appliance Repair Technician (Residential & Commercial)Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing team. This position requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of residential and commercial appliances. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial appliances, including but not limited to:
- Refrigerators (including compressor and Freon recharging)
- Ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers
- Ice machines, walk-in coolers, and other industrial kitchen/laundry units
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on all appliance types.
- Disassemble and reassemble appliances as necessary to perform repairs.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service manuals.
- Communicate clearly with customers, ensuring a professional and positive service experience.
- Conduct on-site service visits at customer homes and commercial locations.
- Collaborate with delivery and logistics teams for installation support when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in appliance repair (residential and/or commercial).
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage service calls.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- EPA Certification (for refrigeration systems).
- Comfortable working in various indoor and commercial environments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Specialized experience in commercial refrigeration repair.
- Previous delivery/installation experience.
- Familiarity with advanced assembly/disassembly processes for high-end units.
