Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Writer to join our power sports service team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring that all service requests are accurately documented and communicated. This role requires a strong understanding of power sports repair processes and excellent customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers upon arrival and assess their service needs.
- Document customer concerns and machine's issues accurately for the technicians.
- Provide estimates for repairs and services
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding the status of their machines.
- Manage service appointments and follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in estimating and provide detailed reports on diagnostics performed.
- Maintain organized records of services performed and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an dealership or service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of power sports repair processes, including diagnostics, oil changes, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with service management software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
