Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Lead to oversee the shipping and receiving operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient order fulfillment and maintaining accurate stock levels. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as proficiency in shipping and receiving processes, to support our e-commerce initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shipping receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Work closely with forklift driver and other team members on daily basis. Train and mentor team members on best practices for order fulfillment, stock management, and equipment operation.
- Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to safely move products within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline shipping and receiving processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all receiving activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity.
- Sort out shipping and receiving paperwork to form weekly and monthly data summary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is necessary.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping are essential.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration among staff members.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 72 per week
