Shipping & Receiving Specialist
About Grip Clean
Grip Clean manufactures premium hand-care products for automotive, industrial, hardware, and construction professionals. As demand accelerates, we need a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to ensure every order—whether a single e-commerce parcel or a full LTL pallet—leaves our warehouse on time and in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship daily e-commerce orders via UPS, FedEx, and USPS using ShipStation.
- Prepare Amazon FBA shipments in compliance with platform requirements.
Freight & Logistics
- Build, wrap, and schedule LTL pallets; coordinate pickups and documentation with carriers.
- Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders; inspect for damage or discrepancies.
Inventory Control
- Perform cycle counts, reconcile variances, and update stock levels in the ERP/CRM system.
- Alert management of low inventory or supply shortages.
Warehouse Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with 5S principles.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; complete daily equipment inspections.
Process Improvement
- Recommend packaging, workflow, or layout changes to improve speed and accuracy.
- Assist in drafting standard operating procedures as the company scales.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with ShipStation or similar shipping software; Amazon FBA experience a plus.
- Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight requirements.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Current forklift certification—or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Strong attention to detail, basic Excel/Google Sheets skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $16.00 – $18.50 (DOE), plus overtime opportunities.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM (full-time; part-time considered).
