As a highly valued member of the Dallas, TX Team, this position will ensure the warehouse shipping operation on the finished goods and raw material meets its daily objectives.
AS A SHIPPING COORDINATOR YOU WILL:
Coordinate the finished goods and raw material shipping operation
Create pick lists for outgoing shipments and plan loads
Prepare consolidated packing list, assign reference numbers, and verify material
Support communication of daily customer shortages to the plant, process shipments, document and release loads
Support proper and accurate documentation for all outbound loads
Log all incoming Raw Material and MRO
Ensure trucks and trailers logistics average pounds per load are maintained, as well as the most cost-effective quantity of trucks
Support proper transactions on all incoming/outgoing product, materials and MRO
Handle incoming RMAs from customers and communicate with the shipping and receiving department in Reynosa, MX
Coordinate warehouse employee assignments to ensure performance objectives are met
Ensure proper files are kept within corporate guidelines
Process special shipments (air, ground) accordingly
Other duties/projects as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
3-5 years of experience and working in shipping for a distribution center
Proficient computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role now or in the future.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
Experience with MS Office Suite and Oracle
