Shipping/Studio Assistant (part-time)
Our products and designs have appeared in movies, books, boutiques, museum stores, memes, and everywhere in between! Located in Paso Robles, The Mincing Mockingbird has been artist-owned since its inception. If you are hardworking, trustworthy, and detail-oriented, we want you to join our studio team.
We are currently looking for a Shipping/Studio Assistant to join our team in the fulfillment department. This position offers a lot of variety and gear shifting on a daily basis, from shipping to stocking to assembly.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick order items from a large and diverse inventory
- Sort and restock inventory according to inventory procedures
- Assist the Shipping Lead with all shipping-related duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area
- Ability to pivot between multiple tasks as needed
- Other duties as required
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience with shipping a plus (e-commerce)
- Ability to navigate and operate in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
- Computer literacy (Mac a plus)
- Strong attention to detail
- Teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use their hands.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: $21 per hour
- Part-time - 16-24 hrs weekly
- Possibility of moving to full-time in the future
