Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting shop operations, ensuring that equipment and materials are organized and readily available for use. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, as well as the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and efficiently.
This job is Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Duties
- Assist in the daily operations of the shop, including inventory management and organization of materials.
- Operate a forklifts and loaders around the shop as needed to move materials around the shop.
- Unloading of commercial tractor-trailers.
- The ablility to be on you feet most of the day and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the shop environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Loading of customers vehicles
Experience
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not a must.
- Knowing how to read a tape measure is plus
- Experience with commercial driving is a plus but not needed
- A valid driver's license is required
