We are currently seeking: Shop Intern
The Shop Intern will assist the shop team with tool and material organization, equipment maintenance, and job site preparation. This role offers hands-on learning for a high school student to develop skills in construction and logistics while maintaining a safe, organized shop environment under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing tools, materials, and inventory in the construction shop
- Learn basic tool identification, maintenance, and safe usage under supervision
- Support team members with preparing and loading materials for job sites
- Wash trucks and equipment as scheduled to maintain cleanliness and company standards
- Maintain grounds, lawns, and storage areas to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Help organize and clean equipment material storage areas
- Perform basic cleaning, trash removal, and safety checks in the shop and yard
- Shadow shop team members to learn about logistics, equipment repair, and job site preparation
- Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed (with supervision)
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be a current high school student (junior or senior preferred)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Interest in construction, landscaping, or equipment maintenance preferred
- Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely

- Develop hands-on skills in tools, groundskeeping, and basic equipment maintenance
