Sunny’s is a modern all-day brunch and bar concept rooted in good vibes, great food, and effortless style. Based in Boerne, Texas, we serve guests from breakfast to cocktails with an elevated yet approachable experience — and we’re looking for a creative social media intern to help tell that story.

Summary of Position
The Social Media Content Coordinator will support the Director of Marketing in executing Sunny’s digital storytelling across, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Nextdoor. This role is perfect for someone with a strong creative eye, a love for brunch culture, and a foundational understanding of social platforms, content strategy, photography, and videography.
You’ll be responsible for directing the filming, photographing, editing, and scheduling at least four posts per week, along with story highlights that align with Sunny’s brand voice and in-store experience — cool, bright, and confidently effortless. You'll direct content creation, performance tracking, and the ongoing evolution of our digital presence across all platforms.
Job Responsibilities
● Film, shoot, and edit content for 4 posts per week ● Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Nextdoor ● Ensure brand consistency across all posts and platforms ● Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to maintain Sunny’s tone, voice, and visual identity ● Stay up to date with platform trends and recommend relevant formats and content hooks ● Track and interpret basic social analytics to monitor content performance ● Assist in maintaining a light community management presence (likes, replies, basic DM support)
General Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Basic video editing skills using mobile or desktop tools (CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar
- A clear understanding of Sunny’s tone and aesthetic (or willingness to fully learn and follow it)
- Experience filming content with a phone/canon camera (ideally in hospitality, food, or lifestyle settings)
- Ability to take creative direction, work independently, and manage a flexible schedule
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and visually driven
- A strong sense of taste — not trendy for the sake of it, but intentional
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative in-person environment
General Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform this role. While performing the duties of this job, the intern may be required to:
- Stand for long periods while filming content
- Occasionally crouch, kneel, or reach across surfaces
- Lift light camera or audio equipment (less than 20 lbs)
