Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development & Execution:
    • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy in alignment with overall marketing goals.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media and continuously monitor and report on performance.
    • Research and understand target audiences across different social media platforms to tailor content and engagement strategies.
    • Identify and implement new social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Content Creation & Curation:
    • Plan, create, and publish engaging content (text, image, video, stories, etc.) across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube).
    • Develop a consistent brand voice and visual style for all social media communications.
    • Curate and share relevant third-party content.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, content, product) to create compelling social media assets.
  • Community Management & Engagement:
    • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
    • Foster an active and engaged online community.
    • Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates.
    • Manage online reviews and reputation.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using relevant analytics tools.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing social media strategies based on data.
    • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Paid Social Media:
    • Develop and manage paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to achieve specific marketing objectives (e.g., lead generation, website traffic, brand awareness).
    • Monitor campaign performance and optimize bids, targeting, and creative for maximum ROI.
    • Manage social media advertising budgets.
  • Trend Monitoring & Innovation:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
    • Experiment with new features and formats to enhance social media presence.
    • Identify new opportunities for social media engagement and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3 years of proven work experience as a Social Media Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Facebook Business Manager).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
  • Knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
