Social Media Marketing Specialist - Part Time (20 hrs/week)

We are a fully remote and impactful team working across Europe and North America. For this role we are currently looking for someone based in the US in one of the following states: California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
About the Role:
This role is critical to maintaining and expanding our organic visibility, customer engagement, and top-of-funnel brand presence. The specialist will:
- Develop and own our platform strategies (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts)
- Create content across formats (Reels, carousels, testimonials, memes, and infographics), using both original assets and AI tools
- Coordinate with internal teams for creative inputs and approvals
- Track analytics, identify trends, and optimize for growth and engagement
This ensures our brand stays active and aligned with our performance campaigns while producing short-form assets that also support paid media, email, and launches.
General Responsibilities:
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Coordinate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.
- Collaborate with the Marketing leadership on pushing the social channels forward.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions, giveaways and competitions.
- Create a publishing schedule, further develop and maintain social media calendar.
- Create and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual social media performance reports.
- Work cross-functionally with different departments to monitor, edit, and approve social media content.
- Oversee social media accounts aesthetic (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and layout).
- Leverage the right tools and technology to manage content.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills
- Proficient in creating Reels, carousels, memes, testimonials, and infographics
- Familiarity with AI-based creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Lumen5, etc.)
- Understanding of social best practices across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and optimize for growth and engagement
- Comfortable gathering input from internal stakeholders (e.g., creative, product, or leadership teams)
- Experience updating account visuals (profile pictures, banners, etc.)
- Understanding of how organic social supports paid media, email marketing, and product launches
- Experience supporting campaign rollouts through short-form content
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in social media marketing (agency or in-house)
- Demonstrated success growing and engaging social communities
- Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment preferred
- Familiarity with social media tools (e.g., scheduling, reporting, design, and listening platforms)
