Job Title: Sourcing Process Analyst
Location: ADS Headquarters Virginia Beach, VA (Not Remote)
Our Mission at ADS Inc. is to actively seek our customers’ equipment and logistical challenges and deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions. As we focus on growing our business, providing managers with high quality, reliable information and insights is critical for success. As a Sourcing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving these efforts at ADS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes workflow methodology to ensure appropriate sourcing techniques (e.g., compliance, ISO, finance) are consistently adhered to/utilized
- Monitors open RFQs as assigned and proposes best solution
- Establishes business metrics associated with successful RFQ submissions and tracks performance accordingly
- Proactively advises leadership on/recommends business process improvements and optimizations (e.g., workflow edits)
- Responsible for completing and maintaining fully auditable records of bid performance
- Works closely with other ADS departments to ensure proper business processes are followed and internal fiduciary responsibilities are met
- Advise necessary departments on sourcing process issues and generate action plans to rectify
- Co-develop and deliver training for ADS teams to scale the adoption of sourcing management concepts and practices
- Facilitate resolutions to supply chain issues as they arise
- Ability to utilize data in an effective manner from multiple sources (e.g. Email, API, EDI, SQL, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree Required - military/first responder experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree at the Hiring Manager's discretion
- Absolutely crucial that this individual be team-oriented and able to work effectively across business functions; teamwork is critical to our success
- This individual must be self driven and motivated by complex tasks and challenges
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented and organized, able to manage competing priorities with relative comfort
- Remains curious about job responsibilities and embodies “the art of possible”
- Ability to effectively prioritize in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment
- Ability to learn and leverage the programs Alteryx and Power BI
- Superior attention to detail, results-driven, self-starter with excellent communication, and organizational skills
- Highly experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly self-motivated
- Critical thinker under pressure
