Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse background in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and family law. This role requires strong negotiation skills, exceptional legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in various legal matters, providing sound legal advice, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations related to litigation and other legal matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity.
- Provide expert guidance on estate planning, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, and patent law.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective legal strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications within the law office.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients’ cases.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in litigation or a specific area of practice such as family law or environmental law is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.
- Prior legal administrative experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Pay: $46,070.27 - $55,482.48 per year
