The Role at a Glance

As a Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing project management support to one or more Project Managers and/or may be responsible for leading low complexity projects. In this role you will assist more experienced project managers with the creation and maintenance of project management deliverables for assigned projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Working directly with Manager on the development of project plans.
  • Owning the management and oversight of deliverables for work stream(s) within the project plan; escalating issues that put delivery dates in jeopardy.
  • Displaying strong orgranizational management skills with demonstrated system for follow up.
  • Adapting quickly to new technologies; viewed as a resource on the team to train others on new tools.
  • Analyzing Excel reports, evaluating trends/data and translating into PowerPoint visuals in an executive summary format.
  • Creating agendas for meetings and actively participating in meetings, including listening/note taking to document issues, actions and decisions from meetings, and publishing meeting minutes.
  • Performing and delivering on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge.
  • Managing and delivering low complexity projects and conforming to project management standards and processes.
  • Partnering with Project Managers to gather inputs, then building and maintaining the project schedule in appropriate schedule management tool.
  • Collaborating with disciplines across the enterprise (Ops, Manufacturing, Legal, etc.) to achieve project deliverables.
  • Creating presentation materials for project kick off, status and steering committee meetings.
  • Assisting in the collection, recording, tracking and analysis of project effort and financial information.
  • Maintaining project artifacts in the project repository.
  • Assisting in the collection of project metrics and the creation of portfolio dashboard.

What we’re looking for

  • 1 - 3+ Years of experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors)
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment; Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills; proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.

The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $96,300 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
