Chevy Chase Club – Fitness Department
Hours: 1–2 classes per week (with potential for additional sub opportunities)
Compensation: $75–$85 per class, based on experience
Chevy Chase Club, one of the nation’s premier private clubs, is seeking an energetic and passionate Spin Instructor to join our Fitness & Wellness team. This role is perfect for an instructor who thrives in creating high-energy, music-driven classes that inspire, motivate, and engage participants of all levels.
What You’ll Do
- Lead dynamic indoor cycling classes aligned with club standards.
- Create motivating playlists and workouts that challenge and inspire.
- Offer safe modifications to accommodate a range of fitness abilities.
- Ensure proper technique and safety throughout every session.
- Arrive prepared—set up equipment, test audio, and greet participants.
- Maintain a clean, organized spin studio before and after each class.
- Promote upcoming classes and wellness programs to build participation.
- Stay current with industry trends and continue professional development.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Certified Indoor Cycling Instructor (e.g., Spinning®, Schwinn®, Stages®, or equivalent)
- CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Strong understanding of group fitness principles and cycling techniques
Preferred:
- Prior experience teaching group cycling classes
- Background in fitness, health, or coaching
- Familiarity with playlist tools such as Spotify or Apple Music
