As a Steward, you’ll play a critical behind-the-scenes role supporting the culinary team, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness in all kitchen and service areas. This role is ideal for someone dependable, team-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards in a fast-paced setting.
Salary: $16.00/hr - Weekly Pay
Steward Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and service areas, including floors, dishes, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Operate industrial dish washing machines and ensure proper sanitation standards are followed.
- Organize and store clean equipment in designated areas.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when necessary.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Report maintenance or supply issues to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.
Steward Qualifications:
- Previous stewarding, dishwasher, or kitchen porter experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
