We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our growing team. The Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that merchandise is received, processed, and stocked accurately and efficiently. In this role, you’ll help keep the stockroom and sales floor organized, support inventory operations, and contribute to a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the sales floor, ensuring a tidy and inviting shopping environment.
- Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper placement and rotation according to company standards.
- Assist customers with inquiries, providing knowledgeable and friendly service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Perform inventory checks and assist in managing stock levels to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain store standards.
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately manage inventory and assist with pricing adjustments when necessary.
- Support sales initiatives by promoting products and assisting in merchandising efforts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining stock levels and store cleanliness.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, including moving boxes and stocking shelves.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management tasks.
