Responsibilities

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including merchandising and stocking shelves.
- Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and sales.
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Supervise junior staff members, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as necessary.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer calls.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
- Experience with cashiering duties and cash handling is essential.
