Summary of Position
The Admissions Specialist is responsible for welcoming prospective students, providing and reviewing required application forms for admission to CTC, and following up with request for additional documentation and/or letters of acceptance.
Minimum Required Education
High school diploma or GED and eight years wage earning clerical experience
or Associate’s Degree and two years of wage earning clerical experience in a customer service position, preferably in the field of higher education required.
A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts required with application for evaluation purposes.

Minimum Required Experience
Associate Degree and two years wage earning clerical experience, or eight years wage earning clerical experience with High school diploma/GED required.
- Knowledge of technical writing and conducting training of employees is beneficial.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Ability to work as a team and work effectively with other faculty/staff and students.
Other Information
Must be able to occasionally work outside normal business hours.
