- Coordinate and expedite materials to the plant in alignment with the production schedule.
- Provide data analysis, inventory management, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of materials.
- Maintain purchase orders in Canopy to uphold system data accuracy (pricing, due dates, quantity adjustments).
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials to the plant.
- Communicate delivery updates and delays to operations leadership.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials (e.g., ingredients, packaging) to minimize downtime and ensure schedule completion.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and product traceability.
- Verify receipt and delivery of orders with suppliers and third-party logistic partners.
- Analyze warehouse (on-site and off-site) capacity, transferring materials between them to optimize storage space.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analyticsor other closely related field of study preferred.
- 2+ years experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in food processing or meat industry.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, etc. preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide actionable recommendations.
- Knowledgeable on Microsoft office, particularly Excel.
- Excellend verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive approach to resolving supply chain challenges.
- Uphold a high standard of integrity, cooperation and dependability.
- APICS, CPIM, CSCP or similar certifications preferred.
