What you’ll be doing
The Associate Director, Supply Chain will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of the pharmaceutical supply chain, ensuring efficient procurement, production, and distribution of commercial products. This role will drive supply chain optimization, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., cGMPs, FDA, EU) while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
You will be responsible for…
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support commercial supply chain and future launches globally.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including global demand forecasting, inventory control, inventory procurement, and Sales and Operations Planning.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), and serialization technology vendors.
- Oversees DSCSA compliance by managing the serialized tracking and tracing of pharmaceuticals. Handles electronic data exchange processes, such as EPCIS, verifies Authorized Trading Partners, and maintains the required transaction records as per DSCSA regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct tracking investigations and manage any exceptions that arise.
- Oversee and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage commercial labeling, packaging and artwork proofs.
- Identify and mitigate risks, such as supply disruptions or drug shortages, through proactive planning.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with CMC, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations teams to align supply chain with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement through supply chain analytics, process optimization, and technology adoption (e.g., ERP systems).
What Knowledge & Experience you'll bring to us...
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, life sciences, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech supply chain management, with 3+ years in a cross-functional leadership role.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- In-depth knowledge of cGMPs, FDA, and global regulations related to commercial supply chains.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and supply chain optimization tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to manage teams and stakeholders.

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
