The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Supply Chain Portfolio Analyst. As a Supply Chain Portfolio Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing financial performance across the supply chain by analyzing costs, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position bridges finance and operations to ensure efficient capital allocation and cost management.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis across different business units and products. Including but not limited to: Trending actual results by cost driver to develop a deep understanding of their impact to financial results to assist FP&A with financial outlook processes. Develop and manage product profitability reporting / analysis to help identify and manage gross profit.
- Facilitate monthly cost review meetings with Valvoline Global Operations and document cost driver changes with anticipated timing. Partner with finance team to ensure financial outlook properly accounts for all potential costing changes.
- Develop models to evaluate the impact of pricing changes and cost reduction initiatives.
- Conduct the semi-annual item- analysis on all filter related products. Implement corporate store recommendations and communicate results to franchise business consultants. Lead implementation with SAP and POS master data teams.
- Support Director Portfolio Strategy on the coordination with master data teams for both S4 and POS to ensure all new products are correctly setup, product transitions managed, and obsolescence occur as planned.
- Advise helpdesk on store level product requests. This includes store requests for products to be both activated and deactivated, review in timely manner and provide appropriate approvals.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested from internal business partners.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain or related field
- MBA or relevant professional certifications a plus
- Work Experience: 4-6 years’ experience in financial analysis or related data analytics role. Product line management experience a plus
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling / data analysis. Power BI or equivalent a plus
- SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud
- SQL
- Experience w/ AWS a plus
- Self-starter
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
