Overview:
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center (“ARMC”). It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of ARMC. The employee shall support ARMC strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to; Customer Service, Patient’s Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care.

Licenses/Certifications
The Supervisor, Social Services, works closely with social services staff to coordinate services for patients according to hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines. The position also ensures services provided meet the psychosocial needs of the patient at the appropriate level of care. The position is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, providing mental health expertise in addition to community outreach, networking, and liaison with community programs as needed. The position ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied.

Education/Training/Experience
MSW degree from an accredited school required.
Two years acute or related medical care experience required.
Management experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
LCSW required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
