What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced surgical dental assistant who can confidently assist in procedures under IV sedation and is already familiar with oral surgery and/or periodontics.
You must have all of the following:
- IV sedation experience (prep, monitoring vitals, post-op care)
- Minimum 1 year chairside surgical experience (oral surgery or periodontics)
- Preferably DAANCE-certified (or willing to obtain)
- Active WA state dental assisting license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Comfortable with sterile surgical setup, suctioning, suture assistance, and advanced instrumentation
- Excellent communication and composure with patients under sedation
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with implant systems (e.g. Straumann, BioHorizons)
- Experience with PRF/CGF, GBR, sinus lifts, or ridge augmentation
- Digital dental workflows (CBCT, 3D printing, intraoral scanning)
