Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Taproom Beertender to join our team. As a Taproom Beertender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. If you have a passion for craft beer and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Educate customers about our beer offerings, including flavor profiles, brewing processes, and food pairings
- Pour and serve beer samples, flights, and pints to customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the taproom, including tables, bar area, and restrooms
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking beer supplies and merchandise
- Collaborate with the brewing team to ensure quality control of beer products
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Other duties as needed
Skills:
- Sales skills to promote beer products and merchandise
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of brewing processes and different beer styles
- Hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to provide exceptional experiences for guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
