WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT
We are looking for a hands-on welding professional to support our customers, distributors, and sales teams with technical expertise, demonstrations, and application support. In this role, you will work in our ARC facility in Nuenen and on customer sites, ensuring our welding solutions are applied effectively and demonstrated at the highest standard. You will combine practical welding know-how with customer-facing consulting and training. These will be the main tasks of the role:
- Develop and maintain proof-of-concept and demonstration guidelines for advanced welding equipment solutions
- Deliver product and process training to distributors, sales teams, and customers
- Provide expert technical consulting and troubleshooting support, offering effective welding solutions
- Conduct customer-facing and internal product demonstrations for welding equipment and technologies
- Perform consumable benchmarking and technical evaluations across the product portfolio
- Drive sales growth by promoting welding equipment, consumables, and specialty alloy products within the assigned territory
- Manage and expand customer relationships, acquire new business opportunities, and support continuous market growth
- Build customer awareness of product capabilities, benefits, and value propositions through technical and commercial engagement
- Analyze sales performance and market trends using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), sharing insights to support business development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing and discount guidelines, health and safety standards, and quality requirements while contributing to sales targets and business objectives
WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE
- Extensive knowledge of welding processes, welding equipment, and related consumables
- Hands-on welding experience in industrial, fabrication, or field environments with proficiency across multiple welding processes
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of sales, products, and marketing within the welding industry
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and stakeholders
- Fluency in English and German; Dutch language skills are highly desirable
- Self-motivated, results-driven professional with a proven track record of achieving targets and objectives
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and customer engagement skills with a professional and confident approach
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand requirements and deliver value-added solutions
- Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, willingness to travel extensively, and a valid driving license with flexibility to adapt to change
