Job description

Everforth ECS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Writer to work in our Arlington, VA office (hybrid).

Everforth ECS is seeking a Technical Writer to support the quality and delivery of program documentation across multiple technical areas: Cloud Infrastructure, Data & AI Services, and Data Visualization in support of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This role is ideal for someone early in their technical writing career who wants to develop expertise in cloud computing, data platforms, and emerging technologies while working collaboratively with experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit program documentation including cyber security documentation such as System Security Plans, ATO artifacts, System Design Documents, Architectural Documentation, CONOPs, SOPs, cloud infrastructure documentation, and other customer deliverables.
  • Support documentation across multiple technical workstreams, including:
    • Cloud Infrastructure - operational documentation for cloud administrators, engineers, and architects
    • Data & AI Services - documentation for data platforms, analytics infrastructure, and AI/ML services
    • Data Visualization - business intelligence documentation and user guides for data analytics tools

  • Interview subject matter experts to extract information for document creation across cloud, data, and AI domains.
  • Coordinate graphics, formatting, and document production.
  • Ensure content quality and conformance with established standards.
  • Collaborate on implementing standardized processes and deliverables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000
