Duties:
Perform all basic store operations to include:
- Accept, sort donated merchandise
- Hang and tag clothing and textile merchandise
- Price miscellaneous housewares
- Providing great customer service
- Maintaining a clean/organized work area
- Enforce the organizations policies, procedures and safety policies
- Professionally handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Collaborate with Store Manager on training and daily tasks AS NEEDED
- Motivate and supervise team to achieve production goals AS NEEDED
- Back up any position in the production as needed to accomplish goals
- Day-to day operations including opening and closing procedures AS NEEDED
- OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Physical stamina to perform tasks for full work shift
- Ability to take direction and communicate effectively
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Basic computer skills, ability to read and write
- Previous supervisor experience (1 year+)
- SPANISH speaking a PLUS
Work Environment: Exposure to all weather conditions/elements. May be working outside. Will be working with both direct and indirect sunlight. Will experience variations in temperature and weather. Moderate to high levels of dust. Frequent interactions with general public.
Physical Requirements: Frequent to constant standing and walking on concrete surfaces. Ability to perform continuous lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds repetitively, up to 50 pounds occasionally and maneuver up to 400 pounds using assistive equipment.
