We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed Title Searcher/Examiner to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and exhibit exceptional attention to detail. Daily travel to various county courthouses is required to meet deadlines and fulfill job responsibilities. You will need to have a solid understanding of multiple county court systems and title search procedures.
Key duties include:
- Conducting title searches and examining property records, ranging from simple to complex.
- Researching land records both online and in-person at Register of Deeds or Clerk of Court offices.
- Identifying documents that may affect property and ownership, such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, taxes, and other assessments.
- Preparing preliminary title search reports using company software.
- Recording documents and facilitating foreclosure sales.
- Working well under pressure while meeting deadlines across multiple counties.
