Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Repossession Agent to join our recovery team based in Louisville, KY. This role offers an opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and adherence to legal and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate, recover, and safely transport vehicles and other collateral assets.
- Operate company-provided equipment, including recovery trucks and technology systems such as GPS, Clearplan, and DRN.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation for each recovery.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and management throughout shifts.
- Ensure all recovery activities comply with relevant laws and company policies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 23 years old (insurance requirement).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean or near-clean driving record.
- Flexible availability to work day, night, and weekend shifts.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating tow trucks or recovery vehicles is a plus.
- CDL A license preferred but not required.
- Background in towing, repossession, security, or law enforcement is beneficial.
