The role of a trainer is to develop competencies in an individual to perform his / her tasks effectively in the workplace, and to create documentation signed by the trainee, trainer, and supervisor agreeing the individual has completed training, as well as understands and is capable of performing job duties correctly, safely and in the time frame required.

Primary Duties
- Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.
- Maintain records of proof of training and Safety awareness
- Plan, develop, and deliver technical training sessions to manufacturing employees.
- Assist in training employees in the department
- Ensure all department personnel are following manufacturing procedures
- Use of manual and semiautomatic fixtures
- Follow instructions and procedures accurately and precisely
- Communicate manufacturing/quality issues with general manager and operators
- Ensure smooth transfers of technology and product revisions/introductions from Engineering to Production
- Maintain open lines of communication between all shifts and levels of the organization.
- Review paperwork; ensure operators are filling paperwork out correctly
- Uphold company policies
- Work with management to ensure company goals and policies are met
- Additional or extended work hours may be required
- May be assigned to other projects and duties
