Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the drayage process of shipment movement
- Manage relationships with selected drayage carriers and make urgent communication in case of emergency
- Search plan B drayage carriers in case of lack of capacities
- Share with daily container delivery schedules with drayage carriers
- Analyze, create, edit, track and trace select LSPs such as drayage carriers
- Monitor and drive improvement to customer service goals including on-time delivery, product lead-times, and request-for-quote responsiveness
- In case to use pre-pull yard, find the best solutions in time
- Report monthly on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for drayage deliveries
- Checking the delivery status and share with customers
- Document corrective actions and improvement plans properly, and verify plan's effectiveness.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting, as required.
- Perform other job related duties as required
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Fluent in Chinese and English is required
- Bachelor's degree preferred or GED
- In-depth understanding of the U.S. transportation (especially inland transportation) / freight forwarding industry
- Excellent project and people management skills
- Monitor and manage the drayage process for freight shipments (GPS monitoring, timeliness control, performance evaluation system)
- Manage relationships with selected drayage carriers and make urgent communication in case of emergency
- Manage relationships with designated drayage carriers and provide immediate communication during emergencies
- Experience in developing transportation plans to optimize load rates, transit times, and logistics costs
- Ability to manage within timelines, budgets, and business objectives
- Analytical/focused/data-driven skills with creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent cross-functional teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and other applications.
- Ability to prioritize and shift work focus to urgent issues without impacting other work.
- Ability to undertake up to 20% of domestic and international travel time.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
