Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Team & Camp Director to lead and oversee our travel sports programs and year-round summer camps across multiple locations. This full-time role involves managing travel teams, retaining team members, and promoting the growth of our camps and travel programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth development, sports, and camp programming, with a proven track record of leadership and program expansion. Experience with Google Suite is a plus.
Duties
- Oversee the management and operation of all travel teams, including scheduling, coaching oversight, and player development.
- Retain and engage travel team members to ensure high participation and satisfaction.
- Direct and promote year-round camps at all locations, including summer camps held during the off-season for travel teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow both travel programs and summer camps, increasing enrollment and expanding program offerings.
- Coordinate logistics, staffing, and marketing efforts to ensure successful camp and travel team seasons.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for participants, staff, and families.
- Monitor program budgets and ensure financial sustainability.
- Collaborate with marketing and community outreach efforts to increase visibility and enrollment.
- Track and report on program growth, participant retention, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports program management, camp administration, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Passion for youth development and sports education.
- Flexibility to work year-round, including during camp seasons and travel periods.
- Experience with marketing and enrollment growth strategies is preferred.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar) is a plus.
