Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care while managing their treatment plans effectively. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of healthcare administrative processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers and patients to ensure clarity and understanding of procedures.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients, facilitating smooth billing processes.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and following up on treatment progress.
- Utilize health information management systems, including Meditech, to maintain accurate patient data.
- Perform clerical duties such as 10 key typing for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Assist in the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
Experience
- Previous experience in health information management or medical administrative support is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office management practices and procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience in insurance verification processes and patient service roles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of dental clinic operations is a plus, along with proficiency in relevant software tools such as Meditech.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
